The NutriMill Harvest has a beautiful wood finish with black or Silver trim and German made Corrundum stone heads. It combines fine German engineering, superior craftsmanship and a classic timeless design to provide you and your family with fresh, nutritious whole grain flours. The NutriMill Harvest is robust and reliable. The milling heads are self-sharpening and easily accesible for cleaning.
Note: This mill is comparable to the KoMo Fidibus 21 with a different housing design. It is being imported to the US at a very competitive price.
Housed within the stylish exterior of the NutriMill Harvest is an exceptionally advanced, yet beautifully simple, milling mechanism. Precisely fitted corundum/ceramic burrs grind to any texture you choose, from very fine flour to cracked. All by simply rotating the dial on the hopper.
Power & capacity: All Harvest mills are equipped with specially developed electric motors that provide reliable and efficient, yet quiet power. The Nutrimill stone mill, with its 250 watt motor, produces 3.5 ounces of flour per minute at the finest setting. Its large solid Bamboo hopper holds 2 lbs., 3.3 oz. of grain, and can run continuously so you can refill and keep grinding for whatever quantity of flour you need. All dry grains can be ground, including wheat (both hard and soft), oat groats (dehulled oats), rice, triticale, kamut, spelt, buckwheat, barley, rye, millet, teff, quinoa, amaranth, sorghum and dent (field corn). It will also grind spices, lentils and dry beans (pinto, red, garbanzo, kidney, etc.) It isn't suitable for herbs, oilseeds like flax or sesame, popcorn, or fibrous materials. Cleanup is minimal and easy, and full access to the milling stones takes just seconds, without tools. A sealed wooden lid keeps everything clean between uses. A lifetime mill: The excellence of engineering and construction that goes into every mill means that your mill can be expected to last a lifetime in normal use. Only the finest materials are used to make the NutriMill Harvest mills.

Freshly milled grains are far more nourishing and flavorful than flours which are weeks or even days old. Freshly milled flour exits the shoot at a temperature only sightly warm to the touch. Whole grains begin to oxidize and spoil as soon as they're milled, causing a loss in nutritional value and flavor. At a minimum, it's important to check the shelf date on store bought whole grains and refrigerate or freeze what you keep on hand. Ideally, purchase whole grains in bulk and mill at home as needed. Whole grains keep indefinitely and hold their nutritional value. Milling your own grains with a Nutrimill Harvest grain mill takes a few minutes at most and cleanup even less. #760265 250w, black #760268 250w, Silver
