The Superstone Chicken Roaster is made in the U.S.A. of natural stoneware, fired in kilns at temperatures of over 2000*F.  The Greek and Roman peoples used stonedware vessels for cooking breads, meats, and fowl.  Hot embers were placed around these stoneware cooking "ovens" to produce a very even heat.  The stoeware held this heat and the domed top created a circulation of heat, cooking the meats or poultry in their own juices (retaining the nutrients and vitamins).  Prepare a chicken in this roaster an you will be amazed at how moist and tender i t will be.  Fantastic "one-pot" meals can also be prepared for a quick and nutritious dinner.  Cooking with our Superstone Roaster is healthy and easy.  Serve your meal right from the roaster.  It will keep your entrée warm between helpings while adding charm to your table.  The base of the roaster is glazed for easy clean-up, and is also microwave and convection oven safe.
